APG23 v0.3 Readiness, Maturity, and Application Smoke

Objective and entry

APG23 accepts the complete APG22C result and performs the individually owned readiness review and aggregate application smoke for the 13 provisional v0.3 skills. The phase began in a brand-new Codex session after the required full application restart, rooted in the private APG development repository.

The entry tree was clean and remote-equal at APG22C. Exit 00037, ADR 0017, 19 canonical skills, 19 catalog rows, 19 checked-in projections, 6 stable rows, 13 provisional rows, and 18 non-router routes were current. Record-identity validation independently confirmed ADR 0018 and exit 00038 as the next available sequence values.

Direct selector and discovery evidence

The fresh client catalog displayed all 19 repository skill names. It also displayed two same-name workflow-router entries: the repository-scoped router under the APG checkout and a personal router under the private Codex skill source. The repository router was selected only because the client supplied its repository path and scope. No source identity was inferred from name or behavior. Outside-repository global-only visibility was not observed and is not claimed.

All 19 checked-in repository projections resolve to their canonical leaves. The development checker reports 19/19/19 and the capability map reports 18 non-router entries.

Application smoke

The router selected design only for unresolved consequential decisions, planning only for accepted dependent work, implementation for authorized behavioral change, debugging only for unexplained behavior, review for bounded disposition, and worker-assignment composition only after delegation was authorized and selected. It returned no skill for a simple task, rejected a mandatory chain, stopped on missing or stale metadata, and preserved explicit applicable selection.

The synthesis case split universal authority and privacy, language structure, project commands, duplicated APG procedure, private machine state, personal workflow material, and stale guidance into separate owners and dispositions. It performed no rewrite, migration, cutover, or private disclosure.

The approved-roadmap case produced one reviewable manager assignment for a supplied semantic phase ID. It invented no roadmap, preserved planning and worker-assignment owners, separated precommit tracked finalization from postcommit reporting, did not dispatch or execute, and did not continue to a successor.

Individual dispositions

Fresh non-author reviews found no material behavior defect. Eight rows are promoted to stable: the workflow router, repository-guidance synthesis, Python, Bash, Bats, Zsh, exact-bounded ZUnit, and Nix profiles. The approved-roadmap, Go, Ruby, PostgreSQL, and SQLite rows remain provisional because their ordinary real-use breadth is not yet sufficient for stable maturity. All 13 are include-v0.3.

Provisional inclusion is truthful because triggers, non-triggers, ownership, authority, safety, privacy, source/version limits, discovery, explicit use, and rollback are complete. Distribution success is not used as maturity evidence.

Validation and aggregate review

The configured repository suites pass 250 tests with two expected fixture skips. The development projection checker passes 19/19/19 in text and JSON; the unchanged active public-backed checker passes 6/6/6 in text and JSON. Compilation, shell syntax, command help, changed-link, privacy, file-mode, schema, durable-reference, record-identity, and staged-whitespace checks pass.

A fresh aggregate review accepted selector evidence, router and pairing behavior, maturity, inclusion, source and exact ZUnit boundaries, privacy and repository independence, and catalog/map/projection/public-v0.2 consistency. It found one record-contract defect: ADR 0018 initially omitted its decision date. The date and standard status section were added before finalization and the affected gates were rerun.

Scope closure and limits

Every original v0.3 objective is terminal before release construction. APG24 is the only remaining v0.3 phase. Public v0.2, reference and target repositories, RepoMap, project/user/release schema version 1, managed defaults, and active public-backed integration remain unchanged.

APG23 creates no candidate, performs no publication, makes no root or private cutover, decommissions no personal workflow, and does not begin APG24. It makes no automatic-invocation, comparative-superiority, universal-support, or production-warranty claim.
